Refunds and cancellation
There is no subscription to cancel. You buy credit, you spend it, and what you have not spent you can have back.

There is nothing to cancel
Studio does not bill on a recurring basis. Nothing renews, nothing auto-charges, and stopping using it costs nothing. If your balance runs out, sending simply stops until you top up.
Unspent credit is refundable
Ask at any time and we will refund the credit still on your balance to the original payment method. There is no window to miss and no fee for asking.
Credit already spent on model usage is not refundable, because it has been passed to the model provider and paid out. The exception is below.
When we refund credit you did spend
We will refund spent credit, without argument, when:
- you were charged twice for the same request;
- a bug in Studio charged you for a reply you never received;
- a charge does not match what the usage page shows;
- someone used your account without permission and you tell us promptly.
The ledger records every charge with its token counts, so these are checkable rather than a matter of opinion. If the numbers say you were overcharged, you were.
What we will not refund
A model giving an answer you did not like is not a billing error. The tokens were generated and the provider charged for them, and we cannot recover that. Try a different model, or a different persona — and if a model is consistently unusable, tell us, because that is worth knowing.
We will also decline where credit was obtained abusively: chargebacks on top-ups already spent, or accounts created in bulk to farm the sign-up bonus.
How to ask
Write to garv@gdautomate.com from the address on your account. Say roughly how much and, if it is about a specific charge, roughly when. You do not need to give a reason for unspent credit.
We will reply within 3 business days and, once approved, issue the refund within 7 business days. How long it then takes to appear is your bank’s decision, and is usually another 5 to 10.
Refunds go back to the original payment method, in the currency it was charged in. Where that currency is not US dollars, the amount is converted at the rate stated on the pricing page at the time of the refund, so a currency movement between the top-up and the refund can make the figure differ slightly from what you paid.
Who pays it, and what comes back
Refunds are issued by Garv Dixit, sole proprietor trading as Garv Dixit Automate— a sole proprietor, not a company — through the same payment gateway that took the money. That is why the timings above are stated in business days rather than hours: there is one person to approve it, and one gateway settlement cycle to wait for. It is also why a refund cannot be issued to a different card or account from the one that paid.
No GST was charged on your top-up, so nothing tax-related has to be unwound — the refund is simply the amount you paid, less anything already spent.
If a payment processor acted as merchant of record for your purchase, the refund is issued through that processor under its own policy, which can be stricter than this page. Write to garv@gdautomate.com either way and we will start it.
Before you file a chargeback
Please write to garv@gdautomate.com first. Not as a formality: nearly every disputed charge on a service like this turns out to be a descriptor nobody recognised or a top-up somebody forgot, and an email settles that in a day where a chargeback takes weeks and gets your account suspended while the gateway investigates.
If you have a real complaint, you will get the refund by asking. There is nothing here you have to fight for.
Deleting your account
Deleting your account removes your balance along with everything else. If you want unspent credit back, ask before you delete — afterwards there is no balance left for us to look at.
Your statutory rights
Nothing on this page limits any refund right you have by law in Gujarat, India. Where the two differ, the law wins.
If you are a consumer in India and this page has not resolved it, the grievance officer named in the terms is the next step, and the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 gives you a consumer forum in your own district after that. Neither of those requires you to go through us first, but both go faster if you have.
