Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of Studio. They are written to be read rather than to be impressive, and they say what actually happens.
Last updated 30 August 2026. Operated by Garv Dixit, sole proprietor trading as Garv Dixit Automate, Vasna Bhaiyli, Vadodara. Questions: garv@gdautomate.com.
1. Who you are agreeing with
Studio is operated by Garv Dixit, sole proprietor trading as Garv Dixit Automate — that is, Garv Dixit, an individual carrying on business as a sole proprietor. There is no company. A sole proprietorship is not a separate legal person, so the party on the other side of this agreement is a person, and “we” and “us” below mean that person.
This is at the top rather than buried, because it is worth knowing what you are buying from. The upside is that whoever answers your email is whoever wrote the code. The downside is that a one-person business has the availability and the failure modes of one person, which is what clauses 10, 11 and 13 are about.
2. What Studio is
Studio is a workspace for sending messages to large language models operated by third parties, and for running code in an isolated container. It does not provide the models. When you send a message it is forwarded to the provider you selected — directly, or through OpenRouter — and their terms apply to what that model does with it, alongside these.
3. Your account
You need an account, and you are responsible for what happens under it. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live. One person, one account; do not share credentials.
We can suspend an account that is being used to break these terms, to attack the service or another user, or in a way that puts the service at risk. Where the reason is not itself a security problem, we will tell you why.
4. Credit and payment
Studio credit is a prepaid balance denominated in US dollars. It buys model usage at the provider’s price plus the margin stated on the pricing page. It is not money, does not earn interest, and cannot be transferred to another account.
Credit does not expire. Charges are recorded in an append-only ledger and shown per message. If you connect your own provider key, turns billed to it do not touch your Studio balance and we charge nothing for them.
Card details are handled by the payment gateway and never reach Studio’s servers. The descriptor on your statement is the gateway’s name for Garv Dixit, sole proprietor trading as Garv Dixit Automateand may not read “Studio”; if a charge looks unfamiliar, your usage history will identify it faster than a dispute will.
Refunds are covered by the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.
5. Tax
Garv Dixit, sole proprietor trading as Garv Dixit Automateis not registered for GST, so no GST is charged on top-ups and what you receive is a bill of supply rather than a tax invoice. If that changes — registration becomes mandatory past a turnover threshold — the prices on the pricing page and the documents you receive change with it, and you will be told before it takes effect rather than after.
Any tax owed where you live on what you buy is yours to handle. If a payment processor acts as merchant of record for your purchase, that processor is the seller for tax purposes, and its invoice rather than ours is the one your accountant needs.
6. Your content
Your prompts, the replies you receive, the documents you upload and the code in your projects are yours. We claim no ownership of them. We do not use them to train models and we do not sell them.
You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, to send it to the model provider you chose, and to process it so features like search and knowledge retrieval work. The privacy policy lists every third party involved.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, and for what you do with what comes back.
7. Acceptable use
Do not use Studio to:
- break the law, or help someone else do so;
- generate material that sexualises children, or content designed to harass, defraud or impersonate a real person;
- attack, overload or probe this service or anyone else’s;
- resell access, or run automated bulk traffic through an account intended for one person;
- work around rate limits, spend caps or the container’s isolation.
The model providers have their own usage policies and they apply too. A provider refusing or terminating access for a policy breach is outside our control.
8. Code execution
Studio can run code you or a model writes, inside an isolated container. You are responsible for that code. The container is restricted, but do not put credentials or anything you cannot afford to lose into a project workspace, and do not rely on it as a secure vault.
9. What models produce
Model output can be wrong, biased, out of date, or confidently invented. It is not advice — not legal, medical, financial or professional advice of any kind. Check anything that matters before you act on it. This is the nature of the technology, not a disclaimer for our convenience.
10. Availability
Studio is provided as it is, without a warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation. There is no uptime commitment. We may change, suspend or discontinue features; where a change is significant and we can foresee it, we will give notice by email or in the app.
Concretely, and because clause 1 said what this business is: Studio runs on a single server maintained by one person, who sleeps. An outage can last until that person wakes up. Do not put Studio on the critical path of anything that cannot wait a few hours.
11. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Studio is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, or ten US dollars. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
12. Ending it
You can stop using Studio and delete your account at any time. Deleting your account deletes your chats, documents and project workspaces. Say so before you delete if you want a refund of unspent credit, because the balance goes with the account.
We may end your access for a material breach of these terms. If we do that and you hold unspent credit that was not obtained abusively, we will refund it.
13. If Studio stops
A business that is one person can stop for reasons a company would survive. Rather than leave that unsaid, here is what happens if Studio winds down, whether by choice or because Garv Dixit can no longer run it:
- at least 30 days’ notice by email to every account holder;
- top-ups switched off immediately, so nobody buys credit into a closing service;
- unspent credit refunded to the original payment method;
- an export of your chats, documents and project files available for the whole notice period.
This is in the terms rather than on a blog so that it is something you are owed, not something you are hoping for.
14. Grievance officer
If something is wrong and ordinary support has not fixed it, this is the escalation route. It is published because the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 both require a named officer to be reachable.

A complaint sent there is acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days. Include the email on your account and enough detail to find what you are complaining about. That this is the same address as ordinary support is not an oversight — a second inbox nobody reads would be worse than one that is read.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. For a change that materially affects you, we will give notice before it takes effect; continuing to use Studio afterwards means you accept it.
16. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the law of Gujarat, India, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you are a consumer that does not take away a right you have to complain where you live — in India, a consumer forum in your own district stays open to you whatever this clause says.
